Is the tour mostly outdoors?Yes, the tour is completely outdoors. We do start under a shaded area and end there as well for the fruit tasting.

What should we wear for the tour?For the tour, it is recommended to wear proper shoes suitable for walking on uneven ground. Closed shoes are best. In addition, it is better to wear long pants and long sleeves for sun protection and to guard against bugs. If you are sensitive to bug, it might be best to pack some bug repellant. We also have some you can use on the farm.

What happens if it rains?If it is a light rain, we will continue the tour. If there is a rain storm predicted, we will have to reschedule or cancel the tour. If the tour is canceled, you will be refunded minus processing fee.

Is this tour good for children?Most children who come on our tour are engaged and love learning about tropical plants. We also have a gardening game made for children which we can play.

What kinds of fruits will be tasting?We will offer you a taste of whatever tropical fruits are in season - ranging from banana, mango, papaya to passionfruit and Panamanian cherries. Mango season is in full swing starting in late May to early October. Outside of those months, we still have several fruits for you to sample.

Can I wear flip flops on the tour?Yes, you can but we advise closed shoes. If you are unsteady on your feet, we advise shoes with some cushion.
